<div class="IPBDescription">Need you foul mouthed people</div> Hi I’m making one of these signature images where you can leave a message, but due to the fact that most forums have a swear filter on them and I don’t want to break the terms and conditions of using these forums I need to make a swear filter.

*WARNING*
The following address might contain adult material and may not be suitable for those of you who are easily offended.

Although the greatest care has already been put in place to make sure that words are filtered.

Any way for those of you who are willing to test it out for me please could you go to the above address and swear till your heart is content.

    What does rot13 accomplish? I checked out the site, plugged in some text, and saw that the characters were shifted by 13, but I don't see how it is useful.

    it's used to bypass swear filters in some places because most people who have been online for a while know how to translate (in other words, someone could put "**** your mother" through rot13 and then add it to your sig thingy)

    If your talking about the post its to find as many offensive words as possible and create a filter so you cant use those words.

    As for the sig, its just a bit of fun with php as i got really bored. If any one wants a copy of the filter just pm me and i will give you a list, it is actually usefull for people.

    On a side note, you should put in some form of flood prevention so people aren't constantly fighting over who gets to write in your sig. :P

    p.s. you should be aware that on these forums at least dynamic sigs are not allowed (for the very reason you are making this post about). Just an FYI in case any mods nuke your sig.

    Still, a neat little project. Dynamic PNG content via PHP ftw. :D

    Yeah im noticing some flood protection is needed, this is the first showcase ive done so far so im kinda happy about it.

    Well if mods feel the need to nuke my sig after all this i dunno, seems a bit pointless.

    i happen to like regexs and the fact that i can do in six lines what it takes you twenty to do (real coders don't have to update, they get it right the first time)
