A Tip For All You Commanders Out There.

It seems that many of the new commanders have trouble giving out orders or ammo/health. One possibility is that they simply can't find the player requesting. So my tip is next time you hear someone yell press "space" it will take you to the last event (yells, notifies).

Setting up hotkeys for ammo/health/weapon drops also makes things a lot less hassle IMO

Excellent tip, both of you.

Thats oft something that's forgotten when sitting in the command chair, as the stress of so many people calling for health and ammo can be infuriating.

I'd love to but I keep forgetting to put an alternate bind for jump, right mouse button is my jump, which orders a poor group of soldiers to go to some random place when I forget that's what my jump key does <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Er... then all you have to do is take Right mouse button OFF jump... ? How can you have it bound like that anyhow? Then you jump whenever you use the RMB command menus, not to mention the aforementioned commanding problem.

Why not just use the shift keys like most?

Not everybody uses WSAD brotha, my command menu is on G, ah hell here's my config

F: Forward
D: Back
W: Strafe Left
E: Strafe Right
A: Flashlight
S: Reload
Space: Crouch
Mouse1: Fire
Mouse2: Jump
wheel: Weapon changin
G: Command Menu
C: Chuckle
Shift: Voice chat.

I'm not going to change it for the world, I'll put an alternate jump button on Home or something...

Heh, I guess I'm just WASD biased. =P But still, surely there's a keyboard buttton you could learn to get used to for jump?
