errors like this shows up

illegal parent bone replacement in model "xxxx"
"Bip01 R Hand" has "Bip01 R Arm2", previously was "Bip01 R Forearm"

I'm using milkshape 1.7.4 and kratisto’s mdl decompiler

    I use to have a problem with this as well
    -Open the p model ref.
    -Copy and Paste the bones into all the animation refs

    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->version 1
    nodes
    0 "Bone01" -1
    1 "Bone02" 0
    2 "mo-mg" 1
    end<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Thats an example of the bones, that should do it im pretty sure

    Or just import the new ref model, then import each animation and export it again. Thats how I always fix it.

    It's a little too late for this now, but you know when you import a reference .smd, and it gives you those three checkbox options? Uncheck the one that says "Rename Bones", and you won't have that problem in the future.
