How hard would it be for Google to buy a small island, populate it, form a government, and then apply to the U.N.?
Then it will begin...
Google will develop advanced military technology. Soon, they will overtake the world's powers. Finally, they will expand beyond the earth, as massive ivory ships emblazoned with the Google name are born into space, to colonize the splendor of the galaxy before them.
Pretty gnarly, pity its only for ZIP codes, can't be looking at my English weather yet. Not that I'd want to see little pictures of rain clouds all the time.

I'm not sure what everyone's so worked up about. I like the idea, sure... but there's only a small set of feeds that you can add to it... if I wanted my mail, I'd check my mail; if I was in the mood for news, I'd go to news websites... and yahoo >>> google when it comes to movies, what with actual critics' reviews instead of uneducated IMDB users' opinions, and customizable favorite theaters so I'm not wading through a list of 30 theaters I'd never go to...
You know as well as me. Google is the reincarnation of Hitler, once again in a quest to kill, not the Jewish, but the people who use other search engines.
