<div class="IPBDescription">Looked lame, owned me.</div> So, tonight was my girlfriend's 17th birthday, so we hit up the Rated R movie action. We went and saw Mindhunters, a movie considered fairly mediocre by quite a few movie critics.

Don't pay any heed to the critics. They usually take the fun out of a move anyways. Sit back and be disturbed. This movie mixed totally disturbing and disgusting horror with the intense suspense of a psychological thriller.

Watch it, if you can get past watching Episode III a thousand times. I'll be seeing that one real soon.

I went to that movie with the intention of laughing at an extremely bad movie, and I was not dissapointed. That movie was AWFUL! If you had gone to Cinemagic in Merrimack you would have heard me and a friend of mine MSTing that movie very loudly in the back, and noone telling us to shut up because they knew that movie sucked.

    blah blah spoilers blah

I don't think I could even begin to describe all of the completely rediculous things about that movie, but I'll try. The guy who played Zero Cool in hackers is in it, he has not gotten to be a better acter since his cyberpunk days, and his southern accent is the most annoying thing ever made. The dialogue is absolutely and totally stupid at nearly all times (when Zero Cool starts talking about the ducks I laughed my **** off). The special effects are just terrible, all the snow looks like lint falling from the sky and you can't tell the difference from the dummies that represent real people and the dummys that represent dummies. A great deal of the murders are extremely unrealistic. Val Kilmer gets frozen to death by GASEOUS NITROGEN, y'know, liek the kind you EFFING BREATH 24 HOURS A DAY!!! The acid cigarette was just confusing, what can melt through steel but not tobacco? The exploding gun made my brain hurt trying to think of exactly how that could be done without making any of the other ammunition explode, when the lights fall from the ceiling and nearly electrocute the Steve Buscemi/Willem Dafoe looking guy in the wheelchair it made me (being an electrician) presonally really **** off, because they made electricity look like a small sparkler, and somehow shutting off "circuit breakers" makes a generator power-down noise. Towards the end people get killed and come back without any explanation (how is LL Cool J gonna survive a 2 story fall and getting his head crushed with a fire extinguisher?). And then, in the last 10 minutes of the movie we have the most hilarious scene in all of movie history, the underwater gunfight. Now, I'm reasonably sure most guns don't work underwater, but these one's apparently did. However, even though they fired, they only went about 5 feet before falling to the bottom of the pool, but they STILL KEPT SHOOTING! After like 5 minutes of shooting at each other in an obviously useless way, they stick their guns above water like periscopes (which looks very stupid) and Zero Cool gets shot in the neck, but he keeps running like it never happened, until LL Cool J shows up again to finish him off, at the same time uttering the most rediculous phrase ever heard in the movies: "I guess we figured out what his weakness was. Bullets." I laughed through the entire ending credits because of that line.

If you like to laugh, but don't like good movies, see this film.
