Trying To Start Up The Game In Steam?

I am able to play HL1 via steam. I downloaded NS and installed it.

How do I run the game? I don't see it in my "play games" steam window, and I don't see an .exe file to start the game itself.

It should appear under the <u>My Games</u> list under the <u>Play Games</u> list.

That's wrong. It will appear under Third Party Games.

Make sure you installed it right. The folders should look like this:
...\<span style='color:orange'>Whatever</span>\Steam\SteamApps\<span style='color:orange'>emailaddress</span>\half-life\ns

Make sure there is only one ns folder. It shouldn't be like this:
...\<span style='color:orange'>Whatever</span>\Steam\SteamApps\<span style='color:orange'>emailaddress</span>\half-life\ns\ns

There is always the shortcut modification route, that is usually recommended for those that have cs 1.6 and not hl1 but it works on this occasion aswell... if the above methods don't work, ask again...
