All the Xbox 360 playable Demos werent run on the Xbox360....Rather on a pair of Apple Powermac G5 systems. (nice job there Microsoft)

Killzone 2 wasnt ingame. That is a fact. I cant be sure if it was actually running that in real time (this is important) or just prerendered, but no game will ever play like that ever, No matter how expertly scripted.

Fight Night 3 was realtime. As was the Unreal 3 engine tech demo stuff. The techdemos were real time too.

You can generally tell whats a game and whats CG just by watching it usually.

Appearently you played Quake 2 in software mode...

Quake 2 had more awful colored lighting than any other game since they started doing colored lighting. Mainly because it was the first game to do colored lighting and back then it was a real big deal. And since it was so new, level designers didn't really know how to put down good colored lighting or not... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Hardly, when I played Quake 2 everything was rather muted. Mostly brown or orange, except for the sections aboard the Makrons space station and a few others (where you face that big treadmilled mid-level boss for the first time) which were blue, but not overpoweringly so..

Eh the weather system sounds a bit cheesy, but at least theyre going back to old school gaming and actually making the game hard. I played the first, heard of the second... when did the third come out ?

even tho it wasnt recorded in game the president of sony europe (i think) said that all of the prerendered stuff were done to the ps3's hardware specs meaning the ps3 hardware could run it in realtime
