If you got silence and even cloaking, then use the CEILING <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Just a hint ^_^

That is such a good freaking idea. I've got to see how well that works.
That really sucks i can't count how many times that happens to me.. sneaking up on 2 marines knifing a node, some skulk runs past me and both marines start blasting our way as they hear him coming. Both skulks death -_-
Remember: Skulks don't need silence to move without sound! Sneaking is slower but still it makes no sound.
Just use the walk key or tab the forward key. With some practice the "tab the forward key" thing is even faster than walking.
Funny how scared the marines get ';,,;'
Then leap + switch to bite in midair and get him RIGHT IN TEH FAEC!
My personal fave spot to wait is just next to the entrance, slightly above head lvl. The idea is to get myself as quickly and effectivly as possbible into bite range. Stay on the ground, dodge around, and make yourself unpredictable.
Sometimes waiting next to a door right at the feet of rines is a succesful tactic. They will check the cieling and corners first, and not even notice your for a split second. The best place to hide is where your opponenct will not look.
hehe, you know i never actually thought about it, but that might actually be very true. I'm a lefty, and i do tend to look left first. i suppose that gives me an advantage <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Skulks with Silence and Cloak ftw. If your team's gorges are doing their job right they'll be placing Sensory towers over most of the map, meaning you won't need scent of fear. just remember to move slowly when coming up on marines from in front (or stand still and let them come to you!). the faster you move while cloaked, the easier you are to see.
