<div class="IPBDescription">Pistol Replacement</div> Colt 1911 Pistol Replacement.
Second ever finished Pistol. Third ever finished weapon model. Took me roughly 5 hours.
Needs meshing and skinng plz; I would mesh it myself but the mesh would be crap.

On a more serious note : The normal version without screws on the grip is 1828 tri, does it need to be cut down more ??
Apart from that - any C&C ?
edit: Updated highpoly version - even though max crashed and i lost the updated .3ds; it was mostly cleaning the model up and trying to decrease the tri count.

Apart from that, 1800 polys isn't too bad is it?

(and before anyone moans about the maps, no i'm not perfect at meshing, but I didn't see anybody else rushing to volunteer themselves. re-map it if you want.)
Slide - The problem I have is where the aspect ratio of the slide map is 1:1 I can't make it any bigger without stretching the texture. If I made the map 1024x512 would it work/ be okay ?
Or I could just make the whle map 1024x1024 ?
Frame - I'm not sure what you mean by 'doing both sides isn't necessary'
If I only did one side I don't know how I could get the other side of the frame to use that part of the mesh but mirrored ?
But I'll try and rearrange the meshes a bit. Thanks for the advice.
