Valve Hammer 3.4 Question

for any mappers out there, i saw some tutorials that showed how to do mapping for cs, but i was told that you can use hammer 3.4 to create ns maps as well. the program recognizes the data files and the entities load, so i assume it's all good there..

my problem comes when i'm trying to export or run it. it saves as .map? is there a way to export as .bsp so i can test and play the map in ns?

appreciate it!

well, you can set up Hammer to compile your map, and hit F9 when you're ready to...but the best way to compile is to get a copy of Nem's batch compiler, here. There's even a program on that website to automatically set up batch compiler for whatever mod you're mapping for

Edit: check the mapping help forum, there are stickies saying how to set up your computer for mapping
