Weldables With Invisible/visible Brushes

I'm sure this question has been answered 100's of times, but the search feature on these forums doesn't work for me, so my apologies for asking it again.

How do you make the brush invisible when the weldable isn't welded, and visible when it is welded?

I have a grating on the end of a vent that I want to appear when the vent is welded closed, but not be there when the vent is open.

make a func train and use the weld to trig a vent coming from above to close the vent.

That's a good idea. However, I don't want a closing door, I want a grate that is welded on, I suppose there could be a complicated way to do this, but I found this tutorial with an example map and it told me what I wanted to know.

Have the weldable target a func_wall_toggle, set the flags so the wall starts invisable, When weld is triggered the wall will appear.

Dont put weldable in path of the vent access, Put a brush to weld at the side of the vent or else you will end up with that funny wall effect that you cant shoot through but can awkwadly walk through like on ns_cage
