    I don't like it. Textareas needs to be on a white background to make them easier to see. And since blue text is harder to see on a white background, well then I guess the forecolor should go back to black as well. :P

    Eh, I quite preferred the white textboxes.

    Firstly, I found them easier on the eyes,

    Secondly, my parents judge whether or not I'm visiting a site that tells you how to commit suicide based on the amount of white they can catch in one glace of the screen.

    I really prefer light text on dark background, and I do like it ALOT more then the white, it still doesn't feel perfect though... Maby grey on dark blue...

    Personally I'd like to see the padding of the interior of the text box increase to 5px, and have the border of the text area changed to the blue color of the font.

    However, despite the above comments, I don't like the change. The group of select boxes above the text area are all default, and the textbox is jarring in its altered state. The color choice of black is rather shocking as well; I like the coolor colors of the normal forum post area (dark blue on light blue), but I don't think it's possible with the textarea as it would only obscure it. I think perhaps it would look better if the drop down and select boxes above the reply textarea were styled, and if the above suggestions were implemented.
