Considering the search is completely unresponsive at the moment, I think it's perfectly legitimate to have duplicate threads. And I'm pretty sure this is a CoD vs. BiA thread, not a "BiA was great!" thread...

On that note, I still demand a demo (or is there one)? Anyway, I wouldn't want to play it with those retarded things above people's heads (so, higher difficulties for me, I guess). Plus, it seems like it could be a better game if you could just be yourself and not have to command the two squads to do your bidding.

elitebear started a new topic asking what other wwii games were out there, asking directly for suggestions, not searching for a list of other suggestions.

He/she (dunno if avatar is elitebear ) said that he/she liked CoD more than BiA, that gives us somthing to work off to offer suggestions.

There's a reason the mods we have are mods and you are not.

Personally, I've not played CoD, been meaning to though. I enjoy BiA, and the only other WW2 games I can think of are MoH and RTCW.

You can remove the icons at any difficulty, it's just in the options.

Oh, and if you could "just be yourself..." then you'd lose BiA's most interesting and unique feature!

Seconded. Unless in jest, I think we should all treat each other in a more friendly manner.

I found CoD had so many great and memorable moments... BiA didn't have as much. The best in BiA was the 1st level (8 days later).

Well, that's the same thing as HL2 (...well, sort of, anyway). I never used the squad...because it took too much work (not that they really helped anyway...need more custom HL2 maps ). It got kind of tedious in FSW...I don't think BiA would be much different.

I've also heard that it doesn't have going prone...and that it would actually help, since some cover that doesn't quite cover you while crouched gets annoying.

Anyway, if you're looking for other WW2 type games; I enjoyed the demo of Blitzkrieg...although I never did get around to buying the game (it's a RTS, though). Or the "A Bridge Too Far" series...they're pretty cool too.

Someone as violently stupid as Sub-Zero shouldn't complain about a "duplicate" thread (when it's not even a duplicate thread). That said, I haven't played BiA, so can't draw comparisons.

If it isn't, that would make sub probably the only person justified in complaining.

    Because it's sub zero.

That makes no sense. He was complaining because another BiA thread had been made, but this isn't strictly BiA, from what I can tell. Feels more like a comparison thread.
