Alright, while a game forum might not be the best place for this, I'm looking for good books to read this summer. So, what book are you reading at the momment and is it any good?
To get this started:
I'm reading two at the momment, Johny Cash's autobiography Cash and Bend Sinister by Vladimir Nabokov.
Cash is pretty good. I don't usualy like biographies so much (even though I am a history geek), but this one is amazing. Interesting life, and he is so honest about it, even the things that most people would be tempted to at least downplay a bit.
Bend Sinister is flipping amazing, its shaping up to be one of the best books I've ever read. Its clearly russian literature, which is one of my favorite areas of literature, but was written in English by Nabokov, so I don't have to worry about the impact of translation. Its got some simliarities to the themes of 1984, but unlike that somewhat excessive, and in my opinion boring, exploration of a very intering and important theme, this one draws more off thigns that have already happened, mostly in Germany and in Russia. That and its written beautifuly, with a flair and visual impact that is rarely found in prose.
Oh, I guess I'm also re-readingLeaves of Grass by Walt Whitman. Best poetry ever, enough said....

DAMN, i thought i was the only one who was gonna say that
I R marketin whoer!
Reading: Insomnia By: Stephen king. Almost done actually, surprising since this book is around 700 pages, has only taken me like 2 weeks.
Going to read: The Stand By: Stephen king. The thing about this is, I read like the first 100 pages awhile ago and then forgot to finish it, because I had to read a stupid book for school and forgot all about it.

It kind of depressing how stupid its making me feel since I can relate to the Prince so much... but Im just generally inept so it cant be helped.
good book, hope you enjoy it.
Ah, thanks for reminding me. I've been meaning to read that one for a long while now.

I'm reading Eon right now, thanks to Olmy. BTW: Olmy, how's the future in Alexandria?
After this I will probably be rereading the Wheel Of Time series...

You have a lot of reading to do. You can stand Charles Dickens?
Interestingly enough that's what I'm reading next
