Was this an attempt to convince or repel me?

The problem with playing US is I don't see most of the people I'd like to play with. Tycho is fun but he gets on just as I'm getting off, usually. Scythe I only see if I'm off work, etc etc.

The other people I like to play with are all pure Instance run 60's, apart from Woodlouse. I know I've levelled incredibly slowly (my main isn't 60 yet, but then again I have the same playtime as anyone else at 53, I just don't play as much)

I might just go buy EU & be done with it.

It's only £9 a month. I'm sure you could stretch to two subscriptions if you wanted Shock, although with that much investment, we'd probably have to start a community website. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' />
