<div class="IPBDescription">:/</div> Right now im watching the ending of Casino. Why can't they make movies like this anymore? All the Italian mob movies are amazing. Bronx Tale Goodfellas Casino Godfather and others. now movies all are just hack em up and kill them movies. Not saying thats bad or anything but still gets REALLY old.

    Wasn't there just a thread about this exact same phenomena like 2 weeks ago.

    Nothing's wrong with movies, you just happen to remember the good ones. Go find a *random* sampling of movies from any time period and you'll find that almost all of them are junk.

    The simple solution: watch lots of Mystery Science Theater and learn to appreciate bad movies because they will not go away.

    Mystery Science Theatre 3000 is the greatest show on Earth. Don't watch it to find out anything, don't have a reason. Just watch it.

    And don't be eating anything when you do, I nearly passed out the other day because I choked on a sandwich I was eating when I was watching MST3K.

    Yeah. I have a lot of the 15 or so minute shorts they did on some 1950's films they showed to high school/college students.

    What Them said is pretty much spot on, although I must say that now-a-days there are a lot more movies(and games) made mostly for profit rather than any sort of vision or passion, which can result in a larger ammount of bad movies/games by percent.

    but 2 movies recently i enjoyed were Sin City (FRIGGEN AMAZING IMHO) and Amityville horror (ryan reynolds is such a badass)
