After A Lot Of Alternativ Installing
<div class="IPBDescription">I think its time to get a new DVD player</div> Hey folkens.
I have had it with my DVD-rom player! Iam going get a new one. Way to many times have i sat down and dropped a new DVDgame into it, just to see nothing happen and some clicking sounds from the case. I bought Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth a mounth ago or so. It wouldnt run, course my DVDplayer is outdated. There are no updates of firmware avalible for my LG DVD-rom 8161B (or something).
I tried installing the game on my mothers laptop and then copy it to my own computer. (on wich i then cracked the game - I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I PAID THE FULL PRICE, LEGALLY IN A COMPUTER STORE DOWN TOWN) Wich worked pretty good! But then i discovered the 'clever' anti-pirating module in the game. It shuts down after 4 minutes of play, if it dosnt detect the DVDrom. Wich my player cpuldnt read.
SO now I want a new one. A DVD-player/maybe also a DVD writer?) for my computer.
Any suggestions? what do I have to pay? What is better, what isnt outdated like my old current one?
Iam in Denmark if that helps.

well, yeah and the game starts up and everything (no DVD in, not cracked) but after exactly 4 minutes of play, iam defeated. (Many players have this problem).

The main problem is the copy protection on the game.
The suggested solution for this problem is to uninstall your game and then re-install it. This should resolve the issue.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
But i can't install the game from my own drive, wich could explain it (something not getting into the registry, when iam just copying it)
Even Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120 percent cannot get it done... Cd cracks dont work.. ect..
