GO SEE NOW!
Great movie, great comedy, great fighting scenes!!!
Even if you didn't like Hero or Crouching Tiger, Go see this anyway because the humor is great.
The fight scenes are very original. Should not even get a rated R rating, but meh the suits don't know what they're talking about at the MPAA.
GO WATCH IT!

I'm going to see it this afternoon.
If I'm not mistaken, (this is based on Region 3 dvd) the "famous couple" were the famous Xiao Long Nu and Yang Guo from Jin Yong's kung fu novel. They changed it to Helen and Paris, which didn't make any sense.
Then the toad style got unintended laughters, when in fact most Chinese readers think of it seriously since it was a prominent style from Jin Yong's novel.
You fail at Greek mythology.

I didn't. Helen and Troy were very different from Xiao Long Nu and Yang Guo. Trust me, they got two totally opposite kind of couples.
These two were both warriors, they got unrequited love. Helen was a commodity and Paris was a snot. Romeo and Juliet would make more sense.
As long as it's not too muhc like Kung Pow (...which wasn't overly funny)...but it doesn't seem like it will be, anyway.

That's called satire.
One of the funniest films I've seen in a while. Also makes little sense, but it works xD lol.
Definitely worth seeing.
Same, it just seems kinda retarded really.
But then again, i found Kung Pow really funny, and that's definately retarded. Maybe i will see it.

The retarded parts ARE funny. And it's randomly interspersed, so it's not retarded constantly, just unbelievable consistently. Buddha in the clouds? Come on, I nearly keeled over when I saw that.
His last movie was Shaolin Soccer.
I am seeing this movie.
