<div class="IPBDescription">HELP IS ON THE WAY</div> With the latest increase in Alien strength.... The TSA has recruited a specialist in the field of Alien Infestations.

He will be arriving shortly and we expect a full retreat of the kharaa with him in the field.

He is pictured in the file below.

Errr, this is a pretty useless post. Do you think that's a bug? You look like that in the readyroom when you haven't played before.

Probably what happens when you run out of RAM and can't load the normal models.

Must be Gordon's great great great great great great grandson who happens to have found his pappy's HEV suit.

    "Sh**! Squad, we've got Freeman!"

If Gordon was such a great alien killer, he'd be the bane of the entire alien team. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

The Readyroom uses your last known model. If you join a game from nowhere (and the ping is high) then there's a good chance you'll be Gordan freeman. I've seen moving gestation sacks, some pure white (untextured) onos's, marines, I think I saw a turret once. It's a random fun crazy happy party in the ready room (for cool funs) designed by the japanese at the start of every game.

BTW, if anyone knows why Flayra decided on a readyroom rather than Spectator mode with a vgui menu for chosing teams and whatnot.. I'm curious to know. Not bashing readyroom, just wondering.

The ready room made me so happy I **obscenity** my pants when I saw it. It was a wonderful sight of color and funky green text.

In keeping with the deep social atmosphere of NS, the readyroom is used because there's absolutely no social aspect to using a VGUI menu to select your team. It's much more fun to be running around and stacking with your friends. I also like the readyroom because it's a great place to go AFK to change your configuration or something else without fear of being shot to bits. Plus, the readyroom is probably the perfect place for a mapper to hide an easter egg. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I bet Flayra kinda regretted it when he saw how much the playtesters goofed around in the RR as opposed to playtesting, but then again he was doing it as much as anyone else <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

My friends and I play "readyroom tag"... you touch another player and they're it, works just like normal tag. The readyroom on NS_Nothing works especially well for it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
