I though Jose Mourinho (or however his crappy name is spelt!) was the biggest disgrace to world football, but V-Man has just proved me wrong. He is the second biggest disgrace, thanks to diabolically stupid Italian fans. It's a pity people do stuff like that really.

Don't diss Jose he's cool, I have loads of respect for him for standing up to UEFA. His touchline ban was a complete joke and just a lame attempt to hinder Chelsea's chances in the Champions League. The way he got one back though was hilarious, sending a physio and a reserve team striker to the press conference

All this happening, and it's not at an Arsenal game!!

I don't see why the club gets penalised for this though, when they haven't done anything wrong

Yes he is cool. If you like rude, arrogant, lying, intimidating, cheating over-paid lazy people. Just never get me started on this guy, he stood up to UEFA? He knows he behaved in an inappropriate manner, he got punished and rightly so. Chelsea should be exempt from the CL for a year or 2 after the ear-piece thing, if UEFA prove it to be a link to Jose.

Chelsea have good players, they don't need a *good manager, Jose proves this as he has showed us this as it is hard to tolerate such a person on the touchline.

His new contract rumoured between 8 and 10 million pounds a year is a joke.

    Edit: *added in*.

EDIT2: Following on from the tolerance of Jose on the touchline, if it's hard to tolerate him on the touch line from his behaviour it's very likely he's a hard person to tolerate in general. Meaning he has so many flaws as a manager, making him one of the "less good" ones.

It's been proven that he didn't do anything wrong in the Barca game now, but the touchline ban still stood so who's lame? UEFA....

He aggrovated Chelsea fans by throwing accusations at Frisk saying his player got sent off hin some big conspiracy, because of this his own fans sent death threats to the referee Frisk who has resigned because he feared, and still fears for the safety of his family.

A manager of a top flight football club should set an example for his fans, not turn the fans of a football club in to hooligans in less than a season.

I don't remember a referee of this calibre ever quitting his job because of fans like this from an English club of the same calibre. Chelsea are pretty much as low as they can get in terms of a fair play reputation now a days, they are disliked by alot more people than they were 3/4 years ago, as opposed to other top flight clubs (arsenal/liverpool/man utd) who have not had a major public opinion change.

For your information I'm a Portsmouth fan. I am unbiased looking at this, it's called credit where credit is due Chelsea have played a supurb season and have a quality manager. I think it is you that is biased byt you blind hatred of Chelsea and Jose.

Chelsea are disliked because they are winning and everyone is jelous of that, it's the same in recent seasons with Arsenal (none liked them because they were a bit arrogant over their massive unbeaten streak), during the 1990s when United dominated the premiership and during the 1980s when Liverpool won everything all the time (if they didn't Everton did such a lame decade for people outside liverpool)

I'm whittling down that quote now lol. It's rediculous to keep quoting.

Winning? They are winning from an influx of foreign players and using a billionaire's money to try and dominant the premiership. They are ruining the essence of English football by being able to do almost anything they like and transfer any player they like. Creating the most boring play in a sport (since the reign of Michael Schumacher in F1 for the past few seasons) I have ever seen. I'd rather watch teams such as the other top fliers like L'pool, Arsenal, N'castle.(barely there I guess) M. Utd and I guess this season Everton is being included in that group. Compared to the other teams, Chelsea are just plain boring, unentertaining and predictable to watch.

I myself don't hate Chelsea, I have a bit of a dislike due to losing respect from a club which was sold to a fame seeking Russian tycoon willing to lay any amount of money, treating a club such as Chelsea merely as a hobby.

It's just a disgrace, football has got so low in the last 10 or so years because of such things mentioned in this thread. I can see myself slipping away as a fan of the sport in the next 10 years.

EDIT: After reading your edit V-Man, I do have a dislike for Jose I agree. Although it has only come from such things as the way he handles club affairs and behaves in matches. He has proven himself to be very arrogant "bad boy" at times, just because he has the best players possible and almost no limits as far as money is concerned.

I am not really unbiased, to be fair, as I said above I have a small dislike from the way the club and the people involved in the club has changed the game for the worse.

I have to agree that the money situation with Chelsea is boarding on the rediculous and positively retarded.

ok..Chelsea dont need a good manager cause they have good players? lol..look at Real Madrid and try dare say the same thing. Jose Mourhino is definatly one of the best coaches around, just cause he will prolly manage to win CL with two different clubs in 2 years and become historic, the media blows stuff up and try to make him the bad guy.

edit* ill say Chelsea has at least showed what it means to buy good players and a good manager. and they still got tons of englishmen in the team, look at arsenal *cough* all french.

So how many flares were thrown onto the pitch in the end.

It looked around the 100-150 range to me

they took out Dida and gave him first degree burns, /me wants blood.

francly inter should be banned from the competition perminantly imo (but so far all thats happened is that their banned from using that stadium, WTH)

I don't see why the club should be banned, it will just make all the hooligans even more **** off, and more likely to riot.

If the club itself hasn't done anything wrong, then it shouldn't be penalised.
Something needs to be done about hooliganism in general, but i don't think banning the club from playing is the answer

The threats to Frisk purely accelerated his decision to retire, he was planning on retiring very soon anyway. Lots of top referees get death threats when they make dodgy decisions, especially in the larger competitions, this was just made a much bigger deal of by the press.

Jose is a great manager and I love how he speaks his mind and is quite happy to deal with the consequences. Yes he has the money to buy the players, but as someone else has pointed out Real Madrid have the same and yet they aren't anywhere near as successful as they could be with a manager like Mourinho. I believe that Jose could have gained success at Chelsea without the money, it just might have taken a few seasons to get the team together, buying a couple of players at a time.

Also, the whole ear piece thing is silly, many managers/coaches have ear pieces so they can speak to the trainers when they go onto the pitch to treat injured players.

Saw it on the news, looked painful. And also looked like half the pitch was on fire with flares everywhere

Bring back Roberto Baggio for Inter. He would have sorted everyone out.

I miss him. I'm glad to see Maldini still pumping along at AC Milan, let's hope he follows through in to managing now!
