<div class="IPBDescription">Confused</div> I am so confused i dunno where to get the first game ever made or can i just get a later version and i don't know where to go to get the game! The latest version is the only version you need. None of that endless patching to get up to date. The latest version as of now is NS 3.0F

You will also need Half-life 1 (agreed, you will need to get half-life up to date)
And you also need to have steam installed. Steam is a gamelauncher utility (much like gamespy and all seeing eye) that supports valve released products such as Half-life and half-life 2.

If you need help to install it all there are several guides in the tech-support forum.

Here's what you need to do to play the game:

1. Get Steam (www.steampowered.com).
2. Register your HL1 CD-Key in Steam.
3. Play the HL1 Training Level in Steam.
4. Download NS 3.0 (http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/view?action=files)
5. Install NS to the half-life folder (...\Steam\SteamApps\email\half-life)
