Also serverops?
Alrighty. Well I'm on a lan and the internet server computer is hosting a dedicated server. I enter the rcon_password for it. Rcon works from an IRC tool I use, but when I go ingame it just doesn't want to work at all! It gives me this error 'Rcon: Challenge from spoofed/invalid IP adress' but everyone else can use rcon!

EDIT - Ok being the smart guy I am I already figured out what the problem was! gah! HLIT does not take kindly to rcon password. :/ My second questio still stands. END EDIT

Also I was wondering what else does sv_serverops do besides display the icon beside the persons name? or is that all its made for?

Set the rcon_address to the LAN IP of the server, not its internet IP and you wont get that first error.

As for yuor second question.. good question! I was wondering the same thing?

having your won id listed in mp_serverops only puts the icon next to your name, nothing else.

    That's what I've read.

    Cheers!

New question. how do you reserv a slot on server?
like having a 16 player server plus 1 but only admins can use that slot.

Yeah you probably wont get adminmod up on your win32 server yet. At least I couldnt manage it. But I have installec clanmod instead, and you can set up reserves-slots with that. It works fine.

    Get it at www.unitedadmins.com

Was thinking about that, but no one here on the board had said anything about it so i thought it didnt work.

    Gonna try it now.
    Thx.

To use the serverops thing, just list the serverops WONids in the server.cfg like it says, then when they join the server they type "auth" in console and voila a perty green admin icon next to their name... I believe this is all this does currently. (Eventually I would like it to give them the option to eject the commander without a vote, or move people between teams etc.)
