how long does it normaly take you?
This is just out of curiosity. ROUGHLY, how long does it take you to UV map a model? I say roughly because I know it varies due to the complexity of the model.

it took my 2 days to uv map my old colt 1911 model
it took me 15 min to uv map my sledge hammer

you cant realy get a average on it
its all dependent on the model

UVing a Rifle can take up to 5 or 7 hours but UVing a pistol can take only 2-3 hours or so, yet UVing a knife could take half an hour.

it all accords on what the model is, how complex it is, your tiredness rate, your stress level, and your enthusiasm level. Caffiene also boosts production speed.

Yes I'm aware of how it depends on whats being UV mapped, but a general idea is all I'm really looking for.

The longest period i've ever spent mapping a weapon fully is like 4 hrs. And that was a 2000 poly rifle.

I don't think you need to spend much more time than 5-6 hrs on Mapping, if you are, you're not doing it properly!

Obviously, complexity of the model can make it really hard, but if you know what you are doing (just thru practice) u really don't need to spend that much time
