The reload balances the gun, if you could reload it like an LMG you couldn't be touched. ... It would be a bad idea for a pro fade to be near a pro HMGer for more then 3 seconds.
A good HMGer will A.Hit the flying around fade and/or B.Not waste bullets if he can't hit them
