<div class="IPBDescription">just came out of the funniest NS game</div> Oh my ... where to start?

After losing the previous match to a cluster of Marines who just wouldn't switch when it was 2:1 odds, we Kharaa were a little angry.

The map started - I don't know how, but we wound up 5 vs 8. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

I gest'd into Gorge, and the other four went of to chow on some Marine base.

Before I even got the first upgrade chamber up, I heard shouts of "OMG it's empty!" and "Hit the CC! Kill it!"
Chomp chomp chomp. We pressed the attack - and after a minute of rushing, my teammates hit the CC for good. Not before they'd gotten turrets, armoury, and 3 spawn portals though. This was going to be fun. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Still a Gorge, I wandered over near the entrance of one of the bases ... and proceeded to construct the <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=21&t=8417&st=15' target='_blank'><b>Wall of Lame</b></a>. For those who don't know as Kharaa - <b>chambers are stackable</b>. Slowing edging forward, I build chamber upon chamber. Literally.

By the finish, there was a solid wall of about nine OCs on the front line, backed by another half-dozen DCs. I could safely stand in the line of <b>four</b> LMGs, as a Gorge w/Carapace, and receive <b>zero</b> net damage. I'd lose maybe 10-15 health, then the DCs would pump it right back up. And furthermore, I could tauntingly Spit at the poor meatpopsicles while they peppered me. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

<!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo-->

After awhile, we decided to close in for the kill. Three of us went Fade, and proceeded to Slash like maniacs through the line of Marines. Once we hit 100 health, it was a simple matter of taking a few steps back to the Wall of Lame, healing in a second, then returning to the fray. And with no commander to drop medkits, the TSA dropped like flies.

The best part about this was hearing a marine say "OMG you're so lame, stop building turrets and come fight"

Payback's a biotch, isn't it? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Edit - Linked to post describing Wall of Lame in greater detail. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Not if you hit them early and often... They took out the Command console so they were all alone.

    The rush is the best way to win as alien. Hit them so hard that they cant get out of thier base while you get a second and third hive up. They waste all their money on turrets and then you become onos and have some marines for breakfast.
