Scrap

well have you played classical rts games?Your the little solider you build from barrackes basicly.So a commander is watching over you and telling you what to build and what to do.Try to move with other marines and try to figure out what to do.In all games the first hour is triky but from there it will only get better.

Oh yeh, use the minimap by holding the "C" button.

ok cool do u have any favorite places u like to play in that u recommend? thx. ya a common misconception though about my name is my name is not scrap as in a scrap of metal but as in a scrapE like i scrapper my self againsed a nail. i just spell it differently cuz it is the name of the song and i dont want to make them mad... lol

I like to play at the Lunixmonster. Everyone there knows what they are doing and they're very helpful to newbies. You'll see a lot of people there that also frequent the forums, including some of the moderators.

You get levels as you post more. It doesn't mean anything at all.

I don't currently have IRC or AIM or any other IM program.

Breakthrough

Pick a server with a low ping, lots of people, and that plays <b>both types of Natural Selection maps (NS and CO).</b>

CO_ won't help you. In CO_ you will always have a hmg/shotty/gl while in NS_ you will be using the LMG 90% of the time. As aliens, you can get regen+carapace+celerity+adrenaline while in NS_ you can only have one upgrade per chamber and one upgrade type per hive.

Bwa hahahaha..... bored has um.... caused me to join and register an account here...

Back to the question at hand... just play the trainings that are stickied in this forum and mix in a bit of CO for training your aim and such. When you're ready, try to apply what you've learned in the NS maps.

Still hard to believe that I've played this game for such a long time and I only just registered - -;
