Comparing to NSJumped 1, you did an excellent video. Not only is it hard to think up new kind jumps when nowadays crackjumping is quite popular, you managed to yet show new combination of jumps than before. Thumps up for the effects, sound, jump etc.
And oh, the humantorpedo cracked me up, <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> n1.
yeah, there was a map misnamed, and there was a spelling error, it was something like "cragostuff" instead of cargo.
XviD is a lot more powerful than you think. i have dvd quality tv episodes of The Shield that are only 350 MB. at 50 mins each, thats 7MB/min, much lower than you have, and the quality is identical. you should at least be able to get close to that or even better since its game footage and not real life.

Anyone want to recompress this thing into a reasonable size? I'm not downloading a 230 meg video unless it at least has a stunning pair of breasts jumping.
This is taking me 12 minutes on my low end DSL....so if I had 1mbps I'm sure I'd get it in 5 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Although the stunning pair of breasts thing was a good idea.
no offence but the jumps weren't half as good as the original. I know it's hard to come up with new jumps but half of nsj2 was just bhopping off rails and stuff in random parts of the map. Yeah sure, that's pretty impressive. The first 10 times.
Otherwise, GJ nice editing and a few very nice jumps.

Although I can't for the love of me understand why someone would prefer easy jumps over jumps that actually take skill.
(and also, not sure if you've noticed, you never know... "half of nsj2 was just bhopping off rails and stuff in random parts of the map" applies to nsj1 too, although none of the jumps were in "random parts of the map" in either. Ahhh well, what can you do...)

I'll have to keep an eye out on next years Oscars for this.. The next Spielberg in the making? ;D
I'd love to see these jumps acted out in real time gameplay, though. It all seems a little unworthy; trickjumping of course is a means of giving you the upperhand over your opponent (dodging fades/bullets etc.) Perhaps some ideas for the threequel, of which <b><u>is</b></u> going to be demanded. =)
Oh.. and thanks for not adding the n00b cameo appearance! <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Bah, my video players all have some problem with the drivers it uses. I can see the vid, but there is all this archiving flashy gray crap all over it. Some real impressive jumps there, but I fall for the newb crap too. I would rather see a trick jump end in some result that could possibly be considered advantegious in a gameplay scenario...
I was wondering, what exactly are the rulesets you are imposing on your hoppers? Most of your marine jumps don't include any weaponary, the few that require catalysts are even more useless (albiet incredibly cool), you said no one was scripting, I assume that means they were all mousewheeling?
Definately some real nice hop skills on those guys anyways.

I performed about 75% of them, n44bj 20% and mu (comrade) 5%. n44bj did find a lot more jumps than he performed though, ratio of jump ideas was about 50% me, 40% n44bj, 5% mu, and 5% various people.
Rules: No server modifications. No scripts (although this is only personally imposed on me, and doing the jumps with say a 3jump scripts won't make them easier than with the mwheel). No upgrades apart from catpacks for jumps impossible without them.

This is the last one I'm going to do, actually, unless something radically changes that suddenly makes a whole mass of new jumps viable again. If you want more, you're going to have to make it yourselves. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
