<div class="IPBDescription">Show us!!!</div> Where can I find demos, logs, or other burgeoning sources of information from competitive players.

The primary reason: Education

I believe there are teachers behind the many jerks of the Clan scene (And sorry for the sweeping generalisation. I understand that it surely must be a minority of prominent clanners that encourage hazing new players or anyone without encyclopedic knowledge revolving around NS Play.)

I've seen people raise other people up and label them as Gods, while other apparently-Godly people denounce what the last person just said. So, while there have been many enlightening essays about Alien changes, it's hard to say whether or not any of them hold water.

If no such examples exist:

So, for all of us that can't possibly understand because we haven't seen or played competitively. Do us all a favor and bestow upon us examples of Marine tactics using two equally-skilled clans or just.. Two equally-skilled teams of various clansmen and have them go at it with the aliens using SC across various maps.

Why bother? Well, I apparently can't be bothered to listen if you don't bother to show us. Also, who knows? Maybe the Devs will be bothered to consider changes if you show examples of gameplay?

if you do a quick acct reg you can download all the big match demos. The ns playoffs start sunday, and all those matches should be available for download afterwards. There is also a demo section of this forum that will hold some.

The other problem is that b5 demo's can't be played on 3.0 final. So unless you still have b5 installed none of the old demo's will work. More will come around monday or tuesday, just keep an eye on amped, its the best place to see demo's.

A very good example of why sensory is overpowered is the teamUK vs teamSE match. Now, teamSE are pretty much Bacon Men + b1 + eXo I think and these guys practice a lot compared to the other Nations Cup teams. TeamUK on the other hand, were going to forfeit this match due to lack of players until around ten minutes before it started. TeamUK had hardly ever practice and a few weeks before, in b5, teamSE took a 4-0 win over teamUK. In the actual Nations Cup game, teamUK took it to a 3-3 draw by using sensory as their first chamber and even going so far as to attempt a pro marine tower stack and then rush to the enemy hive, attempt to relocate and then die, just to get their marine rounds over with as fast as possible. You should be able to find demos on ampednews, I think, but they might not be there.
