<div class="IPBDescription">eggsplodes when you kill it!</div> The default 'egg', with a soft outer shell, and a tangy lemon-lime jelly filling.

    it was always kinda hard to see when an egg was dead or not, kind of thing where you would shoot it again just to make sure. the old death animation was just the egg sort of deflating if i'm not mistaken, this could help quite a bit ^_^

    I've got it.

    Just need the Alien Egg done, and its not really under my guardship, hehe.


    I haven't figured out whats wrong with the Drone/Skulk. Same with the Hive, it HAD been fixed but appears to have unfixed itself.

    Much tinkering is needed, I need a free weekend to go through all the anims comparing... which first means I need to get a copy of the normal skulk/hive as I don't appear to have made a backup, for once.

    I would think that the splat when the egg is killed is too large, you donßt kill it with nades everytime, but the splat looks like it. make it smaller, mabe 1/4 of that, and 1/2 of the current if it hatches.

    Anyone doing this for the default aliens btw.

    I'd love to but atm I'm fixing my Aliens ones because the skulk death anims are completely borked. I think I must have uploaded an old one that I'd been tinkering with.. doh!

    finally got around to trying it... i thought the splat would be bigger but heck it rocks.
    it would be interesting if this were implemented for all the other aliens. but i currently use the default alien models which are edited to move their mouths when the player is using voicecomm like in cs and i don't wanna lose them <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    This would probably require dev intervention. There's no 'hatch' animation, and without that, there's no way to link in an event.

    It's really easy to add a 'death effect' onto any model you want (whether they are custom or not).<ol type='1'><li>Decompile</li><li>Open up the resulting QC file</li><li>Find the line(s) for the death animations (such lines probably include death or die or headshot in the names)</li><li>Add <span style='color:snow'><b>{ event 7000 0 "ChamberDeath" }</b></span> to the end of each of those lines (ChamberDeath for a small splatter, HiveDeath for a big splatter, or experiment with other effects, which can be found inside the <span style='color:aquamarine'><b>ns.ps</b></span> file, in your NS root folder)</li><li>Recompile using the revised QC file</li></ol>
