Server Crash Bots

<div class="IPBDescription">How to stop them?</div> Recently, my clan server has been getting these people/bots(?) that join and then do 80 or so votemaps to overflow the server and make it crash. Most of them have NSArmslab.com in there names, but I'm guessing that they are just posing to make them look bad.

I'm would like to ban the SteamIDs, but if the server ever has to be restarted the bans will go away (or that's what my friend tells me). I'm wondering if there is a way to perma-ban even if the server restarts or even if there is a way to disable votemap.     In your NS directory create a "banned.cfg" and enter the SteamID in it like this, "banid 0.0 STEAM_0:1:123456" for a permanent ban. Then at the bottom of your server.cfg enter "exec banned.cfg" and you're done.

    Are you running AMX Mod X, AdminMod, or what? We cant help you disable the vote system if we don't know what vote system you have.
