Blink only works if you aim above center. If you're aiming downwards, you'll blink into the ground... and you don't want that. So just keep your cursor up when blinking. Once you figure out areas with straight walls and such you wont have a problem knowing when and where to blink.

I dont play as fade yet cause with my ping i cant hit anything but iv seen how deadly the fades are with it , i was a builder making some offy chambers when a human team decides they want my resorces , one fade took out 5 pritty good marines with HMG's cause he kept blicnking behind them. wish i had a demo of it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

actually, it wasnt me - I never really think of it that way to tell you the truth.

I think of it more like it sounds, as a teleport. You just have to jump and duck to use it.

But hey, different strokes for different folks.

If thinking blink is like a catapult works for you, go with it.

Crouching is crucial, it makes you smaller, and thus less likely to run into objects in your path. And aiming at a downward angle is pointless, unless you're in the air want to stop a fall.
