Get your teeths on Rt`s!
I just thought puttiing a topic for this one due it is far underestimated in pub-ns.
Eat the goddam marine rts! If you have one skulk munching marines all the time(you, naturally) you have won in 90% of games. Marines just lose the grip completely after PG. Before you might get your self killed in Rt/s next to Ms, otherwise they are just pg-happy. It might be bit boring but hell you will win alone the whole marine economy and game in the side!
Allso eating them prevents dropping them more and if the comm doesnt know whats going on he will end up as 2 rt`s and 3res-points, naturally leading to lose.
So next time you join aliens try this! Do nothing else than eat rt`s!

well if you see a enemy resource tower usually you to bite it until it poofs into nanoheaven and if you want to sneak past it to ambush 1 shotty guy thats ok to, i dont think you need to be like suffering from a retephobia(phobia of seeing a enemy resource tower and charging right to it to kill it).
Elec.

if the RT is glowing, don't go near it (if your a skulk that is)
Do it and tell me how long it took?
scrap I just got the idea of informing them because this issue is allways on: Marines win in pub`s 90% times due overwhelming res. Any good comm can quite easily win a pub if he has more than 4 rt`s and pubs you often have. Same goes for marines go only rt hunt, people tends to forget this after the beginning. beta5 is around fades and res control, nuff said
and I putted this on new player due this is the place where this info is mostly needed. In alien strategy I expect people to gave at least general idea of these kinds of things
and
you cant teach new tricks to old dog(or however it goes in english)
sad but true....
-Defending your alien rts is vastly more important than taking down their RTs (in almost every situation).
-If you take down a marine RT, try to take the one farthest away from their phase network, or any marine traffic. Anything close to marine outposts will most likely be recapped quite quickly.

Quite some time. Parasite does no damage to structures.

Destroying the enemy's nodes is a pretty elementary concept of NS. However it is not the be-all and end-all of securing victory. A marine time CAN and WILL come back from a three hive lock down with minimal res if their tactics are sound and they work as a team.
Additionally, there are times when not destroying an enemy rt is viable.

After or during a large conflict, when many marines are in the spawn queue

When a hive is suddenly under attack

When you know marines are pushing an area for siege/pg outpost

When someone on your team asks for help somewhere else

When one of your own resource towers is under attack

I emphasise the last point as it's often disregarded. It's of more value to your team to save one of your own nodes than to take down an enemy node. A comm can afford to loose many rts as long as they are replaced, which is easily done. Loosing an RT as aliens is a potential loss of 25 res and a player. Someone must gorge, place the rt, then skulk.
But yes, asside from those scenarios, destroying enemy nodes buildings and players is a viable and well used tactic.
Edit: Gleh. Niteowl snipped in there before me. (Yes, I know it's a big time difference, but I was writting a guide for the Demo forum. )
