Windows Xp 64 + Sp 2 ?

The SP2 for Xp is the same for XP64? A freind has SP2 in a CD , that Microsoft sent him home , and Id like to know if that SP2 version (for Windows XP) is the same for XP 64.-

    No. It's a different upgrade. Standard SP2 is compiled for 32-bit systems. SP2-64 is compiled for 64-bit. They're completely different executables and libraries. Think of it as asking if SP2 for XP would work on MacOS X to upgrade it to Jaguar.
