Sorry if the answer on my question can already be found in stickys or something.

I have never moddeled before, and my question is.

What program should i use? (if possible a program that supports the dutch language, but its not neccesary)

Can anyone give me a picture of something easy to model?

Or just general help with moddeling would be apreciated.

Thx in advance.

PS:
Im seriously a noob at this, but my goal is that i keep doing this now as a hobby and probably use it later for work.
I always had great interest in games and anything to comes with it.

    Well, a program to start with is Milkshape 3D www.milkshape3d.com You could try that for 30 days and decide if you like it and purchase it. quite cheaply might I add. If you have the money and patience then theres the likes of 3D Studio Max and Maya. These are professional quality programs used for top games and animated movies. These are really expensive though. However they do have free options available in the forms of G-Max and Maya Free Personal Edition

    Hope to see some good work soon <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Yep - Milkshape is where to start. It's about as beginner-friendly as 3D programs get, and very cheap (25 Euros, as opposed to around $3000 for a pro 3D program).

    Also, check out this sticky: <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20223' target='_blank'>http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....showtopic=20223</a>

    For the amount of time it takes to learn to model, you might as well learn how to do it right.
    Dont even bother with Milkshape. Just get yourself a copy of Maya PLE and learn on that.
    If you need to, only use Milkshape to get the models into Half Life, cause its worthless as a modelling program.
