You could decide to produce automatic locations that don't have localization issues by using a grid system with letters and numbers. You can use the <a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_phonetic_alphabet' target='_blank'>NATO phonetic alphabet</a> to communicate them over voicecomm, or just stuff them next to the location name in say_team messages.

The phase entrances are doors on either side of the armoury. You can sort of see one of them at the right, the yellow and black stripes paint the doorframe.

Asthetically, it is MUCH better, but I prefer the gameplay of the beta 5 version. Many vents have been re/moved.
Also, in the NS 3.0 trailer, there were two shots of ns_eon. The third scene (I believe), with the klaxon and the blinking red light. That is a hive location. The northern one, can't remember it's name right now. And the scene where a hive and a bunch of chambers decloak on a platform with four 'arms' is also a hive location, Core, I believe. It's the wetern one. MS is far east and Engine, the third hive, is far south.
Oh, and kudos to Mendasp for his inclusion of a secret room in the bast rr. Anyone who knows what he did to bast for beta 5 will get a laugh. I'll leave you all to find it.
Minimap of ns_eon, I shot it in a .spr viewer, so the bg is red, and the vents are uncoloured, and it's rather small...
