this isnt a complete model so putting it in ur ns folder wont do anything, cause the file isnt named right. Even if it was it wouldnt look right cause its not finished. Rar and zip files are like envelopes. They package stuff and make it smaller.
sorry I cant show a picture, but I am done. Took a little while <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Hm screw this. **grizzly, while I should be thankful about you skinning it, I am in fact very, very angry.
You took over a month too finish something that doesn't differ that much from the state of a month ago, you didn't even "un-green" the magazine.
Some parts of the model with the skin on it look like total crap (magazine, the upper/back "venting holes" (and other palces you used those black *holes*) and the lighting is broken in some places...
And it took one month.
ONE MONTH.
You could have just said "Sorry, cba continueing it in an acceptable timeframe, you suck" and I would have looked for someone else to skin it or just put it into the trashbin.
You said it was your ISP, but I don't really think that you have no one who could let you go online for an hour....
Now I stand here:
-One month totally wasted -Skin does not reflect the timeframe it took to make
-Final exams next week
So right now, I neither have the time nor the motivation to animate something that is, blatantly said, crap.
If someone else wants to use the model for anything, feel free to do so.
For me this project has turned into a massive failure and waste of time.
I would agree with you obst. The skin really is not that fantastic. Its not one of my best and I certainly am not the best at what I do. I'm sorry that I couldnt give it the awesome skin that it does deserve. It is a great model.
As for my lack of communication, I do have friends that I could have used their computer but I never got around to it. My ISP Charter Communications is terrible. I lost my internet conncection one day and it took 3 weeks for them to fix it. There was nothing wrong with my computer, I still tried a new network card and a format. The signal I was recieving from them wasnt stable enought to stay connected for more than a minute. And the signal I did recieve took at least a minute to load my google homepage. It didnt even recieve a signal ever in ie. It only work in firefox. I could have gotten on somebody else's computer but I assumed it would be fixed quicker than it took. I went through about 20 calls to customer service. About 4 people coming to my house to replace the modem. I went through 6 or 7 modems. Finnaly the mofo's came out and fixed something in the green box in the backyard. I dont know I was at work when they fixed it.
I'm sorry this didnt turn out the way we all wanted it to. I hope it doesnt discourage you from creating more work or working with me in the future. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I feel your pain with charter. Modem goin down at all hours of day/night for no reason, for several hours. Paying for 3 meg service, receiving 768kb. Customer service reps that barely know anything besides charter hardware.
ex: Are you using a router? Yes. Then you should try contacting the router company to see what is wrong.
DOH!
Charter sucks, but its the only real broadband company around here where i live.

like I stated abouve one should be grateful to any skinner taking the job to skin a custommodel. I know how you feel obst, its the same thing with the two skins for the ns_source custommodels.
I dont know if obst is overacting... but if its true... no offense (just constructive criticism) grizzly but it seems you are "willing" to help people out and suddenly you dont have the motivation/time/whatever to do an ACCEPTABLE job. maybe you are a great skinner, I dont know. but your attitude is something you should think about, seriously. sorry to mentioning it...
and this model DESERVES a kickass skin!!! <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> so dont be shy, dear skinners, help this poor, beautiful model to get the best suit!

It's dead.

qft, use it.
What is it?
