Natrual Selection For Cs 1.5

I am have a LAN party with a bunch of my friends in 36 sleeps and counting
and we need a version of NS compatable with CS version 1.5 because we cant use steam.
So if anyone can give me a link to somewhere i can download it, it would be greatly apreciated, and a link to a 1.5 compatible server would be great aswell

3.0 should work for steam but.
You will have to install steam, install ns 3.0 then copy the ns folder and other ns related files in ahlf-life fodler to the same place in your 1.5 install.

This i believe should work mroe or less fine. But, otherwise as align said use ns 2.0

I'm pretty sure you can play without Steam on a LAN though, as long as you use a non-steam version of the mod of course.

I just had a lan party monday, we played cs 1.0 straight off the disc, and i brought ns 1.4 and 3.0 beta on a disc as well, all you need is the cd key and it works, if you want it, email me.

If you drag the 3.0 folder from a steam-installation into your old WON directory then it works wonders. The new messegemode introduced in 3.0 might be a bit bugged though (since it uses the steam-gui).

Personally I'd recommend downloading Counter-Strike 1.6 LAN-version and then installing NS in that directory instead. I've done it and it works great.
