Actually, Ghandi DID work as a lawyer in south africa, and did help destabilizing the transvaal government.

Yes, yes, he was first disturbed by racism in South Africa because even though he was intelligent and had spent many years outside of the country he was still considered "low" by the whites there....still, I wouldn't exactly call his actions "liberating" the country.

True. His actions were decidedly aimed to reduce current mistreatment, not to achieve regieme change.

Ghandi lived celibately. Attestably.
• SizerSizer Join Date: 2003-10-08 Member: 21531Members
He did it for the sake of other people who wanted to have sex. It takes a brave man to not have sex, and he could have had sex with anyone if he wanted.

for the sake of turning a thread that was initially about complaing about NS into a was-ghandi-celibate thread, I propose we all go out and get our ghandis together with our camping 'rines and find out whether he was really celibate.

Try a rush to 3 banshee squads, the farseer, unite her with one squad, and one guardian squad - now rush those marines. It says banshees are only good for infantry, but those power blades make mince out of marines, the guardians take care of the scouts, and the farseer mindwars the force commander, while her minions cut him up. (keep all squads on overwatch).

Anyway, camping is a deathmatch term, and always has been, in team games what the player(s) is doing is strategically holding ground otherwise needed by the oposing team.

In NS wise thinking, holding the corridor outside one side of the alien hive, cuts off 50% of the mobility of the alien team. 1 skulk most definately isn't = to 1 marine, even 2 or 3 will die, aslong as the marine uses his knowledge of the area he is in.

If you guys want to talk about peaceful resistance, civil liberties, etc. in the Discussion forum, that's fine. But this thread is getting locked because I don't see any relation between these things and "I'm Tired Of Big Open Hives And Long Hallways, and I'm sick of marines camping"
