Another terrorist plan perhaps? Oh well, nothing to worry about really, Britain seems very good at handling its own affairs compared to alot of other countries.

I've driven past there before a couple of times if I'm thinking of the right place. Can't say I'd noticed the chronosphere-similarities until now.

in that respect, UKers are lucky that their country is small enough for a comprehensive police force to manage.

if we wanted the same kind of coverage we'd literally need hundreds of thousands more police officers and other internal security personnel.

Lol everyone in my electronics classroom screams 1.21 'jigga'wats when my teacher asks for a answer for a power formula. Its funny cause he throws a huge fit about there being no 'jigga'wats, only gigga XD

Yeah we do seem to have a lot of police officers per head compared to other countries and the general public wants more....

Go to Germany which has a higher population than the UK and they have half the police we have plus nowhere near as many CCTV cameras in cities <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->. We must be doing something wrong tbh cos we're a police state compared to them.

It's more so the intelligence network that seems to have saved our skin, as its been reported that most terrorist plans have been foiled after 6 months or so of observation.

Most of them are dedicated to catching people breaking the speed limit.

If you go 5 mph over the limit, God help you, 'cause there's ten million policemen waiting to improve the crime stats by arresting drivers. But if you need an officer when you see someone breaking into a car, good luck, since the number of policemen on the beat and police stations aren't stellar.
