neither is better, neither is worse. its all in the eye of the beholder, and in the experience of the player.

i wont rattle on for pages here, so ill lay it out in simple terms:

for the first 85-90% of the match, NO team can get into a situation that is impossible to get out of(# of players being even). NO situation cant be beaten.

just remember: this isnt DM. if you play aliens, dont plan on shooting things(that goes for Fades. their shots are weak for a reason). if you are mariens, dont treat your commander/other team members like crap. you arent the only one out there, and you arent the best.


work as a team, and dont give up. and, be creative.


no player needs hundreds of peoples opinions on how to get good. you just need to not give up. playing on "broken" servers with uneven teams as an alien, ive been able to come out on top. it isnt impossible. you havent lost until youre in the ready room and it says "Team # has won".



remember that. for the love of god, remember that.


and please. stop whining.

Well the coolest game I ever played was (as alien of course) it was 8 on 3 and I was complaining for the past hour about the teams and they didnt say a word, they just ignored me(can you believe that!) so I decided to show them. I went into their HEAVILY defended base as a skulk with lvl 1 cloaking, and destroyed their cc (took about 3 times but they didnt seem to get any smarter)! Well that got them pretty mad and they still thought they were going to win pshhh, so in the end we won with the teams 8 on 3 (8 marines 3 aliens). Take that you damn **obscenity**, even the teams next time.
