    dito.

    funny idea. I nearly laughed my a55 off when I spotted it.
    double barrel "retro" shotty on the "red faction"-style. really nice <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    meh,I got a double barrel shotgun I keep as a back-up alarm system (owner with a 12 gauge) under the bed. Hell,I'd take horizontal over "over-under" any day.Just means you get 2 shots before you have to reload,but cocking is never a problem,and with fast hands you can reload relitively quick. Also,remember the boondock marines <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> redneck hunting,futureistic style!

    I should point out that a tactical rifle stock as part of a grip for a shotgun doesn't work. It would be terribly uncomfortable to use and look real funny too.

    You don't craddle a shotgun's grip like you would like with a bolted rifle. It's more about actually holding that end of the gun and control.

    what about a benelli m3, doesnt that have a rifle like rear end? It just has a pistol grip instead of whatever it is this has. Can't imagine it would be that uncomfortable to hold and use.

    Well see your right except that you hold those shotguns differently. The placement of your thumb is up over the stock rather then gripping the integrated grip within the stock like you would use with a rifle..

    as I see it with the current configuration the stock is too short to utilize the integrated grip

    <a href='http://www.uscg.mil/d14/units/kukui/Pictures/Guam%20-%20Broadhurst%20shotgun.jpg' target='_blank'>this</a> picture illustrates my point. Other than that it looks dead sexeh..

    Might look cool if you make it break-down to reload, could make some awesome animations.

    It should probably have some sort of heat shield to grab onto when manipulating the barrel...barrels tend to heat up with use.

    Well it's a combine exclusive shotty, I'm pretty sure they wont feel the burn through their armor, much less the burn if it touched their skin period <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I like the reload concept. but whats the receiver good for?
    shure is a nice idea but the shot itsef would push the chamber system open, ripping the shooter to pieces. think about it <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    another reloading system I thought about since I saw the spas 12 the first time: what about the lower "barrel" which holds the ammunition is handled as kind of a mag? imagine: you take off the "mag" by turning it 90°, throw it away, take a new one out of your backpack and fix it by turning it 90° in the other direction.

    That's called a tube magazine, and it's standard on most pump-action and semi-auto shotguns.
