<div class="IPBDescription">How to upgrade</div> I allways wondered if you can upgrade lets say armour twice as alien, or is it just one upgrade you can do
even if you have three hives? Because when you upgrade armour once it says 2 points and when you try again it says -1..... ?

Errr.. k if I read this right... you can only upgrade movement, sensory and defence once and then you're stuck with it until you die, in order to get level 2 in a upgrade you need 2 of the chambers of that type (for example, build 2 defence chambers to give access to level 2 of your defence skill) build 3 to get to level 3 skill, The effectiveness of your upgrade has nothing to do with the number of hives you have, just the number of chambers for that skill.

The hives merely limit the number of types of chambers you have, If you have one hive you can choose one of the chamber types and only be able to build those. (example... you have one hive and you build a movement chamber, then you can only build more movement chambers until you get your next hive, then you can choose a second type of chamber, when you have 3 hives you can build all three chamber types)

If you upgrade say... carapace at level 1, and then build 2 more defence chambers for your team you will have upgraded automatically to level 3 carapace.

If these chambers get destroyed your upgrades get worse.. if you have 3 sensory chambers and the marines destroy 2, you go down to level 1 sensory skill.

On another point (which u might have been going after) you can only get one upgrade of each type. Meaning you can't have a level 1 carapace, and level 2 redemption (they're both defense upgrades). It's all or nothing for each chamber type.

And the "1" is actually negative I believe, although it doesn't do anything if you click on it.
