since I searched the web for hours now and couldn't find any solution, I hope that some cracks here can give me a helping hint.
I search a possibility to enable fast maps / sounds / resources downloads with my dedicated server and don't know how to realize that.
Problem: When people connect to our server, many times they have to download the map and sounds and other resources - this takes <b>forever</b> with the standard configuration... how can I change that?
In another forum, where the admins offer gameserver hosting, they also offer an http based map server that is lightning fast (in comparison to the standard...). -> Has this maybe something to do with sv_download_url?
Does anybody here know how to realize this with a dedicated server? (amxmodx is used)

I believe it's covered in <a href='http://www.modns.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=942&hl=sv_downloadurl' target='_blank'>this thread on the modNS.org forums</a>, and also in the Steam Forums. I use it on my server.
