Meshed the blade, altho max didnt like it. There are probably some problems with the mesh, notably where there is a funky colour (pinkish) in the middle of a green/blue bit. Not completely my fault, but i didnt want to tinker around with the model too much, its probably fixable though.
Because of some very lame reason, everything i make corrupts, so download the two above gifs and turn them into bmps and skin, and the model is above the two maps.

umm ok everything I dl from u ppl is seen as "corrupted" by my comp...Metasequoia can't open the .3ds file that I saw on an earlier page, although it <i>says</i> it's a compatible format...
Edit: and yeah grizzly you go ahead...my skin is BOUND to stink, suck, and fail, all in one.

im not toucing this unlesss compiled into ms3d with the uvwrap skins on it. OS i can check the prgoress and dimensions of the texture. Heck griz go for it now.

Whats the massive problem with using a .3ds? If you have milkshape, import it, add the materials to the two objects and then save as .ms3d. Its not a mission, jesus.
