Blinking To Avoid Falling Damage

<div class="IPBDescription">intersting tidbit</div> Incase anyone didn't know, you can use blink to survive a fall from any height. Because blink moves you to the first thing you intersect, and upon emerging from the blink you have 0 velocity, fades can survive a fall from any height.

1) Jump down an elevator shaft/other long fall with blink selected as your weapon.

2) aim straight down, making sure that nothing is between you and the floor.

3) 'fire' your blink.

4) You will appear on the ground, no damage taken.

L0L... quick question tho... why when I use blink, nothing happens, even when I aim upwards sometimes, it will just do the claw attack, and i have full adrenaline ATM too

peregine, read through the forums, theres atleast 3 threads on how to blink. It does take some practice and a little luck too.

It helps a hell of a lot if you crouch when blinking.

This works really great, but be careful using it in elevators. I've gotten stuck dozens of times. I think it happens when the elevator has a non-flat brush at the bottom of it (like a vent or grating).
