I know its been said many times before, but its for good reason. Every new release since 1.04 has been getting more and more boring. I dont know why (think it may have something to do with aliens and marines weapons being more deadly = less chance of fighting back) but the fun factor in each game really seems so be almost void these days. back in 1.04 i used to play the game EVERY night straight after school till late at night, i knew no one more devoted too the game. Since then all of my friends have given up on it and now i find i never play it either today. which is realy depressing because NS was always in my opinion the most original and beautifuly created games/mods anywhere. For most people i know it was the introduction of combat which killed it and it certainly dint help my interest because it was NOT what NS is all about.
