<div class="IPBDescription">I have located evidence of animal abuse</div> I just found some pictures of my cat being abused, probably by my sister or mother.

<img src='http://img228.exs.cx/img228/2835/jetabused5jq.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

Mother of god.. who could do such a thing? Perverts.

Personally, funny/cute as it is, I don't like poor innocent animals being forced into unweildy costumes to entertain fat oafish people. I mean, with all the things that cats do for us, surely the least we can do is provide them with a fun and comfortable life?

Forced shennanigans are for small children and foreigners only, not pets.

Is it a feminine cat or a hardcore one, if it's the latter, then this is just wrong.

He's a boy cat, and he wanders the neighbourhood getting up to youthful catty shennanigans.. gets into a fight every so often and wins... this is an outrage.

Next they'll be wheeling old war vets out into malls and putting them in bunny suits. I don't think Patton would stand up for this crap. Why should our cats have to?

It always baffles me when I see people putting coats on their dogs.
They don't look "cute" - they look dumb and it probably degrades them
in the eyes of their dog community and brotherhood.

Oh and, if anyone tried to put a hat on my cat (festive or otherwise) - it'd
freak out and scale the walls. (It climbs corners when it's having one of it's
    mad 20 mins or so.)

Wait.. your cat can climb your walls? Did you screw up and carpet everything? I demand pictures or video.

Actually they recomend if you have a greyhound to have a coat for them (if you live where it is cold). The golden rule is, if it's too cold for you it is for them. I dogsit all the time, and Mia (the greyhound I watch) loves her coat, but then again it does symbolize going for a walk.

Those little hat and costume things are just obnoxious though.

Yea....what have the cats done for us, exactly? If you say catch mice - aside from that being the job of mouse traps - I'm going to point you to my sister's cat: my sisters cat just lays on the bed for 22 hours, gets up twice a day to meow for food and then returns to the bed after eating. Don't give me the 'gives longer lifespans to owners' either, because that cat seriously annoys me with it's meowing (which seems to happen once every week or so - so it doesn't sleep <i>all</i> the time) at 2 in the morning (or instead of meowing, it'll just pretend it's stealthy and knock crap over in the basement).

...Seriously, it doesn't do anything except waste peoples' money (and apparently sleeping is very tiring). <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

They love you and snuggle. Snuggling is good.

    They keep your feet warm.

The kneed your back in a massage like way.

They get excited over the tinest things.

They <s>love you and snuggle. Snuggling is good</s> sit around and do nothing.

They <s>keep your feet warm.</s> attack your feet or anything moving...if they manage to stop sleeping.

The [sic] <s>kneed your back in a massage like way.</s> claw your leg trying to climb you.
[seriously, if you're cat's not declawed, you'll know they're not trying to 'massage' you.]

Cats were originally bred to hunt vermin on farms. Then people went "OMG SO KYOOOOT!" and now a majority of the cats seem to be companion animals.

Believe it or not, a cat is all that some people have in the way of friends/family.

cats are evil... im allergic to them.. so i say they all die by burning to death...

of course my grandparents would be without cats then.. and they really do help them..

they live on a farm and theres about 20 cats there.. they hunt the mice and keep them out of the house.. other than that they just roam around, play with the dogs, and sleep on the patio...

He can sit, catch, fetch (though he doesn't always return the item). I taught him how to do courses like dog agility. He's pretty good at rolling over on command but that is only if he is listening to me long enough to get him to lay down.

    Cats are awesome.
