Zombie Panic 0.93 With Linux Ded. Server Released

Just a quick note for those that follow Zombie Panic:

Zombie Panic 0.93 patch and ZP Linux Dedicated Server files released.

The changelog is listed below:

Fixes:

- Spawn-on-break items can be picked up now (zp_nation).

- Anti-telefragging code re-written by Rhone, since it was causing the 100% CPU bug on servers. The CPU bug should be fixed now (Finally!).


Changes:

- Zombie Panic Linux Server files now available (Again, finally!).

- Zombies now glow green in zombie vision.

- Satchels and Dynamite blast damage and radius have been adjusted to be more useful.

- New Colt .45, dynamite stick, and dynamite satchel models (Thanks wnn!).

- New map zp_zna (Thanks Bloodix!).

- Updated zp_nation, thanks to hi!

- Updated zp_industry, thanks to Paladin!

- Shell casings now stay for the whole round, instead of 2.5 seconds.

- Shotgun damage tweaked.

- M-16 damage tweaked.

- Colt .45 accuracy slightly increased.

If you already have ZP 0.92 installed, you can just install the 0.93 patch:

    Aside from the fact that not having shell casing laying around aint a big deal, wouldn't this put a strain on the server?

    It actually cleans up shells every 5 minutes, and the strain shouldn't be that heavy, as most ZP maps aren't loaded with tons of ammo. However, we're keeping an eye on it to see how it plays out.

    Our hope was that it would add a fair amount of atmosphere to the game with a pretty insignificant CPU hit. This way you can wander into a room, see bodies, shotgun shells, and .45 slug casings everywhere, and it tells it's own story.
