Retrieving Cd-keys

<div class="IPBDescription">Dagnabbit</div> I'm trying to install Sims 2 onto another machine, but I lost the manual with the CD key on it. I usually write these things down in another place, but I didn't for this game (d'oh).

Is there any way I can find the CD-Key in the registry or what-not?

    My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE is usually the place. It can also be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE.
