<div class="IPBDescription">From the director of Shaolin Soccer</div> <a href='http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/kung_fu_hustle.html' target='_blank'>Apple.com Trailer</a>
<a href='http://www.sonypictures.com/intl/cn/kungfuhustle/site/index_en.php' target='_blank'>Sony Pictures Homepage (With different trailer and games)</a>
<a href='http://www.apple.com/jp/quicktime/trailers/sony/kungfuhustle_large.html' target='_blank'>Apple Japan Trailer (Yet another trailer)</a>

If you enjoyed Shaolin Soccer, you'll know what to expect.

IMDB tags the movie line as "In Shanghai, China in the 1940s, a wannabe gangster aspires to join the notorious "Axe Gang" while an obnoxious landlady and her apparently frail husband exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf"

Watch the trailer for yourself and get ready to enjoy the movie. It's great =D

On unrelated note, my most anticipated Asian film thisyear is not coming to any theatre in IOWA and I'm freaking screwed. <a href='http://www.ongbakmovie.com' target='_blank'>Damn it.</a>

Some Indy theatre in Des Moines or Ames better picked up Kung Fu Hustle, or I'm going postal.

Crazy release times though; japan it's out, some mid year and some end of year. Why does it take a whole year to subtitle and ship?

Basically the main drawing point of Ong Bak is the fact it was made entirely without the use of wires or CG for any of the martial arts segments.
